Evanston Women and World War One

WoodIn honor of the World War One centennial, the Evanston History Center has highlighted the life of Evanston resident Helen Wood, a nurse who was one of the first casualties of the war and the first Evanstonian to die in the conflict. Here’s a link to the EHC blog where her story is being told —
